This Privacy Policy applies to all software, browser extensions, web applications, and related services developed or published by OfflineLogic (“OfflineLogic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including products released under the Crawl Nexus brand such as Shush – Self-Destructing Secrets and any future tools or add-ons.

We design every product to operate with the minimum data required, giving users full control over what is stored, transmitted, or shared.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate our services effectively.

a. When you use our software or extensions

Most applications run locally on your device.
Secrets, notes, or files you create are processed in memory and automatically deleted after expiry or first viewing.
We do not embed analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party scripts in our extensions.

b. When you contact us

If you email our support team or submit a form, we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message solely to respond to your inquiry.

c. Optional email notifications

Some tools (for example, Shush) allow you to receive a one-time notification when a shared item is opened.
We temporarily store only the address required to send that notification, then delete it after delivery.

d. Account or payment information (if applicable)

If you purchase or license a paid product, payment details are processed securely by our payment partners (e.g., Stripe or PayPal). We never store full card or bank information on our servers.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected data only to:

Provide and maintain our products.
Respond to support requests.
Send essential service or security notices.

We do not sell, rent, or exchange personal data with third parties.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Temporary operational data (like secrets or notification queues) is automatically deleted after completion or expiry.
Email correspondence and licensing records may be retained as required for accounting or legal compliance.
Backups, if any, are encrypted and periodically purged.

4. Security

All communication with our servers occurs over HTTPS (TLS 1.3).
Access to infrastructure is restricted to authorized staff using key-based authentication.
Each product is developed with principles of privacy by design and data minimization.

5. Your Rights

Under the UK DPA 2018 and GDPR you have the right to:

Access a copy of any personal data we hold.
Request correction or deletion.
Withdraw consent where processing is optional.
Lodge a complaint with the UK ICO or your local regulator.

Our applications avoid external integrations by default.
Where a specific service is required (for example, an email relay or payment processor), only essential transactional data is shared and handled under appropriate data-processing agreements.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 years of age.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new products or legal requirements.
The date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
